NEW DELHI, (UPI) -- India on Monday said China would not act as a mediator in its dispute with Pakistan in an effort to end the military standoff between the two South Asian neighbors.

Foreign Minister Jaswant Singh said "China has neither any intention nor will it play any role of mediation between the two countries."India has always treated Kashmir as a bilateral dispute with Pakistan and has refused third-party mediation, the foreign minister said.Full Story...
