NEW DELHI, -- Indian Defense Minister George Fernandes said Monday India would not pull back its forces from the shared border with Pakistan until Islamabad ends cross-border terrorism. Fernandes said India welcomes a pledge by Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf to crack down on terrorism, but his words must be backed up by action. Musharraf on Saturday promised to take a strong stand against Islamic extremists in Pakistan and has disbanded two terrorist groups as demanded by India."There is no looking back until we see the results," Fernandes said.Full story... |
