VA Judge: Prayer before dinner is unconstitutional

School prayers at the Virginia Military Institute will no longer be recited now that a judge has ruled that saying grace before dinner is unconstitutional.

Cadets at state-supported VMI, based in Lexington, Va., have been praying before the evening meal since the 1950s. The Virginia chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union filed a lawsuit against the school last May on behalf of two cadets, Neil Mellen and Paul Knick, who had complained about the prayers.Full Story...
