Japan has summoned China's ambassador to formally protest at police entering their consulate in the northeastern Chinese city of Shenyang, taking away two people thought to be North Korean asylum seekers.

A total of five people rushed into the Japanese consulate on Wednesday. Despite pleas from consular staff, police detained two inside the compound while another three were taken away at the entrance. Full Story...
