> Buy Your Radioactive Balls on eBay
People have tried to sell a lot of crazy things on eBay including exocitc animals, pieces of the World Trade Center, and entire towns. But a new item has hit the online garage store and is apparently legal: Radioactive Balls.
I didn't believe it myself, but a seller with the user name danniken from Southern California had no luck selling 22 radioactive marbles at eBay for a mere $7.99, this past week. The auction claimed that these marbles are the "ONLY Radioactive Uranium Doped Marbles on eBay that have been Investigated by the USA Nuclear Regulatory Commission". The 22 glass marbles are 5/8 Inches in diamater and glow in the dark.
What to do with a radioactive ball
The only person who seems to know what to do with one of these balls would be danniken himself. His suggestions include making a model rocket with a "Nuclear Missle", planting them with your potatoes to see if they "grow brains and demand civil rights", and just using them as human repellants for those "no nukes types". Then there is always the random science project.
So what are the long-term effects of having one of these radioactive balls sitting in the drawer of your desk for the next ten years? This reporter has no idea, but plans to ask the next winner of one of danniken's nuclear auctions in ten years.
