Two Iranian women have set themselves on fire in Paris to protest Tuesday's crackdown on an Iranian opposition group.

Emergency workers say one of the women is in serious condition with burns to the face and chest. There are conflicting reports on the condition of the second woman, who set herself aflame just hours later. The women were among at least 50 people who protested Wednesday against the detention in France Tuesday of some 160 members of the People's Mojahedin of Iran.
